Flagpole Finishes
Our flagpole are cone tapered aluminum flagpoles that are precision fabricated from seamless 6063-T6 alloy tubing, utilizing the industry's most sophisticated manufacturing processes. All aluminum flagpole shafts are polished with fine-grain aluminum oxide cloth resulting in a high-quality finish.
Satin Finish
Satin finish is the most common and most specified finish in the flagpole industry. This is a brushed finish created during the polishing process, resulting in a smooth and consistent appearance. Its elegant, soft sheet is low-maintenance and is highly resistant to corrosion.
Standard Anodized Finishes
Standard anodized finishes are Clear, Dark Bronze (#313) and Black.
Anodizing is an electrochemical process that results in a colored aluminum oxide layer on the aluminum surface. This finish allows for greater durability, increased protection from the elements, and enhanced corrosion resistance, making it ideal for coastal environments. Because the finish is fully integrated with the aluminum itself, it will not flake or peel.
Please note: Due to the inherent nature of the anodizing process, we do not warrant anodized finishes with regards to consistency and color uniformity. Color variation will inherently occur between tube, casting, and weld alloys. Castings and welds require varying levels of localized touch up painting to help approximate the color of the anodized product. Differences in the surface properties of the shaft caused by cold working fabrication processes such as tapering can result in color variations of the anodized finish. The anodizing process may also increase the potential visibility of die lines.
A custom color powder coated finish is also available. We offer white, black, gray, and custom colors upon request. A powder coat painted finish may be more suitable for a particular project. Please contact us for a prompt quotation.
